Pristine white homes, and windmills, blue domed churches and ruins of old castles of Oia, precariously perched over the simmering blue of the Aegean; a reflection of the flaming sun painting everything gold as it dives beyond the horizon; images you have fallen in love with through postcards and magazine pages.

That is exactly what happened with Angie and Nick an American couple who found in Oia the holiday destination of their dreams, a place that revived the Mediterranean temperament in both. Their Italian origins fitted right in with the cheerful brio of the Greeks and walking around the whitewashed alleys of Oia with them, looking for the right angle, the perfect light to match their elegant blue and beige outfits was a pure joy! They instantly felt comfortable with the camera and posed in an effortless and casual manner with barely any guidance from me, other than which way to look to for that perfect angle! I personally loved the result, natural and well-balanced photos with a simple, off-hand style that is at the same time evocative and cheerful.

Their parting words as we completed the photoshoot, shortly after the spectacular sunset was that they’d love to do this again and, to be perfectly honest, so would I!
